TIME

Posted by Patrice Smith

Time as a metaphor is used quite often by the everyday person without them even realizing. "Time is money," we shouldn't waste time, " time is of the essence," and the likes. How often do we take TIME to look at ourselves in the context of our lives? If we had to do life over again I am quite sure that with our experiences we would make better choices, work harder, aim higher, and relinquish some of our "friendships"  to name a few. Nevertheless, since we cannot go back in TIME, it is important for us to live what's left of our life to the fullest. Today we have an opportunity to redefine ourselves and make the best use of our TIME. Now is not the TIME for wondering what could and should be done. Now is your TIME to forge ahead and do what you've been thinking about and not mustering the mental fortitude to do it. Go make your day, your week, your month, your year, your life, what you always wanted all along, but never had the TIME to do it. Are you ready to change the hands of TIME?

WOW! This is deep...should I cry or jump in triumph of what is still possible??
I choose the latter. Carpe Diem!

This is a very practical posting.
Far too many people spend time regretting the past. When it is best to take hold of your present and make the best of it. Put your all into making the best of yourself and your situation. It reminded be of advice given by one of my professors in each class lecture.

Many individual after the day is over realizes that he of she have not achieved or accomplished anything. On reflection; their time was not spent worthwhile due to lack of proper organization and sometime it could be a lack of motivation and one find themselves doing nothing that could be uplifting.

Here's a quote of mine about time which might bless you: ‘Time used unwisely and spent without thought will make you a pauper and leave you with naught. But time that’s well spent, will stitch upon stitch weave memories and dreams that will make your life rich.’
