Smile a While

"Smile, even if it's a sad smile, because sadder than a sad smile is the sadness of not knowing how to smile" ~ Anonymous.

Did you know that the body knows that a smile means happiness?  I have come to learn that if I put a smile on my face, even when I’m feeling down, my spirits will automatically lift. Knowing this doesn’t necessarily mean I’m always willing to do it. Many times, I have absolutely refused to cheer myself up. Isn’t that interesting!
However, this is a clue that sometimes the ego positively enjoys being miserable. It can be enlightening to explore the pay-offs we get from our black moods.

So, even if you're in a bad mood - don't forget to smile; It's FREE therapy!
Now who doesn't like free? :)

And it requires way less facial muscles to smile than it does to frown. Could that be natures way of saying that we should smile more?

Totally agreed. I always smile especially when I feel depress, it is a good medicine. I like your smile photo as well as Mr. spool's too.

A smile and 5 deep breaths can make a lot of situations so much more bearable. Love your positive posts. Holly:)
