The Plan

The greatest disservice that one can do to them self is to allow inertia and passivity to get the better of them. An electrical engineer once posthumously wrote, "inertia and passivity leads to the negations of life." This I truly believe, hence, now is the time for a call to action.

Throughout history, humanity has been exposed to the highs and lows of our society. May it be the economy, job losses, health care, or the great depression, Americans have an unfettered determination to rebound and rebuild themselves against the odds. In these current economic, social, moral and political changes, it is imperative that everyone reassess themselves through introspection, with the aim of positioning themselves for the rebound that's anticipated within the next 12 to 24 months. While everyone’s situation may be different, some worst than others, now is not the time to engage in 'pity parties' (i.e. feeling sorry for ourselves) because with history as the best judge, the people that benefit mainly from a post economic slowdown, are the ones that had the foresight to prepare and plan during the slowdown. This gives the said individuals the opportunity to stand first in line and take advantage of the best that society has to offer when the slump is over. This is the time to begin, if you haven't already - to develop a one, three, or five year plan. Begin to assess your plan and work toward making your plan become a reality.
