Heal the Past

"What you bring forth out of yourself from the inside will save you. What you do not bring forth out of yourself from the inside will destroy you." ~Anonymous~

Sometimes there are those memories we hold on to from the past that hinders us from moving forward, hinders progress. There is something we can do about that - re-imagine them (don't confuse this with dwelling on the past).
An experience in the past blocked us because our fear at the time distorted our perception of what happened. To transform this limiting experience, we must bring what was then unconscious into our soul's realm through consciousness, i.e giving that experience purpose. In re-imagining those memories of the past we have to give them meaning, give them purpose. Use it to shape how you think about a certain thing, how you do certain things - own it. Then when you have come to accept it for all that it was and is - release it.

1. Recall the past experience that might inhibit us.
2. Own the experience (no judgment, blame, ...).
3. Take responsibility for it and the consequences

4. Give it meaning
5. Re-imagine it from the perspective of soul consciousness (showing its higher purpose).

It is important that we hold on to what is important to us and release what's not in order to truly free ourselves from the captivity of the past.

Yes. This and almost all posts on this blog have been/ are personal journeys of mine. I discovered this method during one of my "moments of stillness" routines, and found it works.
A new perspective on the very thing holding you back is reached and most importantly, freedom is gained -which is everything.
